Turnigy Battery Strap 330mm - quick review
In theory, battery strap should be one of the least important parts of any drone, quadcopter, or any RC device. And no matter what anybody will say, it is one of least important ones. As long, as it keeps battery in place and does not unfasten itself out of nowhere. Especially in flight. So, as an addition to cheap battery straps from ebay/china we can choose something more fancy. Like Turnigy Battery Strap 330mm.
Is there anything special about this strap? Well, no. It is more thick than cheap chinese ones and velcro mechnism looks more advanced. Hooks are smaller, denser but still provides strong grip.
Unfortunately, there are a few things that I do not like about this strap. It's narrow and due to single loop fasten it is very hard to archive really tight mount. It this was not what I was expecting from an "expensive" battery strap. Do not get me wrong, it secures battery just well, but comparing to other straps, monunt is not as tight as I would expect it to be. So, I'm using Turnigy Battery Strap 330mm, but somehow I'm not convinced that it was a good purchase.
